Dave Carey

Executive Director

Dave has spent the last 24 years in various ministry positions, including nearly 14 years at Bethany College followed by over 7 years of pastoral ministry at Circle Drive Alliance Church.

While serving at Bethany College, Dave cultivated a passion for leadership development and looks forward to the opportunity to train youth and young adults within the ministry of camp. He has also loved developing leaders and seeing lives transformed within his ministry at Circle Drive Alliance Church.

Dave is married to Cora Lynn and they have two children: Jayden and Miranda.

 

George Hembery

Associate Director

George started his journey as a director at Redberry part time while also working as a youth pastor at Dalmeny Community Church. Prior to this he served as a youth leader since 2012 and has worked at Redberry in various capacities since 2009.

George has felt called to youth ministry since he was young and attended Bethany College from 2012-2015 to pursue a degree. He treasures the opportunities he gets in his life to walk alongside, teach, serve, and equip young people on their journey with Christ and loves to be a part of that in his role at camp.

George has three little ones with his wife Katelyn: Percival, Elanor, and Caspain.

 

Myrd Harder

Facilities Director

Myrd, Lisa & their family moved across Canada from Nova Scotia in the spring of 2015. We are so blessed to have Myrd as a superstar in the camping facility arena. Serving at camps for more than a decade all over North America from California, to Oregon, to Nova Scotia to now here in Saskatchewan.

Myrd and his family: Lisa (wife), Katie & Sara (children) live year round at the camp facility and are all an important part of our ministry here at Redberry.  


 

Emma Berg

Director Of Operations

Emma has spent the last 8 years being a small part of youth ministry, including last year which was spent in Romania working with Youth for Christ working with youth and at camp. It was there that her love for camp ministry was reignited. 

Emma has a passion for sharing God’s love through investing in the lives of youth and kids. She also enjoys being more a part of the behind the scenes in administration. This is where she feels her skills are more suited in the ministry of camp. Emma loves the culture at camp and is excited to see how God continues to work through lives at Redberry.
